1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the booking form on our website, call us, text us, or email us, you may give us:

  • Your name, phone number, and ZIP code
  • Your service address, if you book a visit
  • The type of appliance, its brand and model, and a description of what it’s doing
  • When you’d like us to come
  • Whether you chose to receive service text messages, marketing text messages, or both, along with the date and time you did
  • Payment details at the time of service, which are handled by the payment method we use on site or by phone, not stored on this website

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, standard technical information is collected through your browser and through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Your IP address and an approximate location based on it
  • Your browser type, device type, and operating system
  • The pages you view, how long you stay, and which buttons you tap (for example, when you tap a “Call” button)
  • The page or ad that brought you to us, including identifiers Google Ads adds to ad links

Phone call information

We may use call tracking, including forwarding phone numbers provided by Google or another provider, to see which ads or pages led to a call. This can record details such as the time and length of the call, the caller’s phone number, and the ad or page that led to it. If we ever record the audio of a call, we’ll tell you at the start of the call.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your booking request and confirm your appointment
  • Diagnose and repair your appliance, give you an estimate, and process payment
  • Contact you about your request, including appointment confirmations, arrival updates, and follow-up, by phone or email, and by text message if you opted in
  • Measure and improve our advertising, including which ads and keywords lead to calls and bookings
  • Understand how people use our website and make it work better
  • Keep our website and business secure, and prevent spam, fraud, and misuse
  • Keep records and meet our legal and tax obligations

3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies from Google, including the Google tag and Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure whether visits to our site lead to bookings and calls.

Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your past visits to this website or other websites, and to measure the results of those ads. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your options

  • Opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com.
  • Opt out of interest-based ads from many other advertising networks at aboutads.info/choices.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our site will still load, though some measurement features won’t work.

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Our website does not currently respond differently to those signals.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the business, such as website hosting, email delivery, our customer management and text messaging software, and advertising and analytics providers (including Google). They may only use the information to provide their services to us.
  • Our team. The technicians and dispatch staff who schedule and carry out your repair.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When we believe disclosure is required by law, or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our team, or others.
  • Business changes. If Trust Wrench is sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
  • With your consent. Any other time you ask us to.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t give your booking details to other companies for their own marketing. The advertising tools described above collect limited technical information about website visits, such as cookie identifiers and the pages viewed.

5. Phone calls and text messages

Phone calls

When you submit a booking request or call us, we’ll use your phone number to call you back about that request.

Text messages

We send text messages only if you opt in. Our forms have two separate text message boxes. Neither is pre-checked, neither is required, and you can book a repair without checking either one.

  • Service text messages. If you check this box, we may text you at the number you gave us about your repair request, such as appointment confirmations, technician arrival updates, replies to your questions, and follow-ups on your service.
  • Marketing text messages. If you check this separate box, we may also text you special offers, discounts, and news about our services.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of booking or purchase. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You can read the full details in our SMS Terms.

Text messaging and your mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Service providers that help us deliver text messages may use your information only to send the messages we ask them to send.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide service, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes, and comply with the law. After that, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No website or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can contact us at any time to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that’s wrong
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we’re required to keep
  • Opt out of calls or texts that aren’t needed to complete your service

Residents of some states, including Virginia and California, have additional rights under state privacy laws. We’ll consider reasonable requests from anyone, wherever you live. To make a request, call or email us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we generally respond within 45 days.

9. Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy
